The TP-Link TL-WA1201 is an 

AC1200 dual-band wireless access point designed to extend network coverage and provide versatile connectivity solutions for homes and small offices. It supports various operational modes and features Power over Ethernet (PoE) for flexible installation. 

• AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Delivers a combined speed of up to 1200 Mbps, with 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.
• Multiple Modes: The device can operate in four different modes to suit various needs:
  • Access Point (AP) Mode (Default)
  • Range Extender Mode
  • Client Mode
  • Multi-SSID Mode
• MU-MIMO Technology: Allows the access point to serve multiple devices simultaneously, which improves network efficiency and reduces latency.
• Boosted Coverage: Four fixed external antennas with Beamforming technology concentrate the Wi-Fi signals toward connected devices to extend reliable coverage and minimize dead zones.
• Flexible Deployment with Passive PoE: The device supports Passive PoE, enabling it to receive both power and data over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation in areas without a nearby power outlet. A PoE injector is included in the package.
• Gigabit Ethernet Port: Includes a gigabit Ethernet port for high-speed, reliable wired connections to devices such as PCs, game consoles, or IPTVs.
• Captive Portal: Offers a secure and customizable authentication page for guest Wi-Fi access, which can also be used for marketing purposes in small businesses.
• Easy Setup: Can be set up quickly via an intuitive web interface.
